PG North/East: North Allegheny set for tough Norwin Knights
Washowich and his Knights (19-6) will see the Tigers tight defense firsthand at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Plum when they square off against North Allegheny (23-2) in a WPIAL Class AAAA quarterfinal. It will be the second time the two teams have clashed this season, joining a Jan. 2 matchup when North Allegheny pulled out a 70-63 overtime victory. Since then, both have won 11 of 12 games down the stretch. But, there's no question that the Norwin contingent still remembers that loss just after the New Year. "When we played [North Allegheny] the first time, we were up nine points with three minutes to go," Washowich said. "They never led in regulation. "Now, they did the things it took to win that game and they came away with a victory and I don't want to take anything away from them.
Britey gets reunited with her boys
Reunited and it feels so good for Britney Spears and her boys. For the first time in nearly two months, the beleaguered pop star had face-to-face contact with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, during a Saturday morning, court-monitored visit, sources confirm to E! News. The boys, who have primarily resided at Federline's home in Tarzana since October, were packed into his gray Dodge Viper truck by a bodyguard and shuttled to Spears' home on the Studio City-Beverly Hills border around 9 a.m. The visit lasted until noon, at which point the boys were driven back to Federline's, wearing smiles on their faces. Aside from Spears and a court-appointed monitor, there were several other key personnel on hand, including: Britney's father, Jamie Spears; a Federline security guard; and a lawyer from the Luce Forward law firm, which is handling Britney's conservatorship for Jamie Spears.

Rangers pass character test
One thing is certain: If I miss a game, it will be a wild one. The last three I've missed: the Shanahan-Knuble collision in the Garden, the come-from-ahead collapse against Philly this season in the Garden and now, this one. Raise your hand if you thought the Rangers would wind up with six points out of a possible eight on this road trip? Raise your glass if you still thought so following the self-inflicted wound that was the trip-opener at Carolina. This has to be the best stretch of hockey the Rangers have played all season. And not just because they've won five of six. Down emotionally and confused tactically, the Rangers accepted the gift that was those back-to-back home games against Atlanta. But the loss at Carolina threatened to wreck them for good.

Romney gets aggressive with Republican rivals
For church goers: less money to insur. companies and more to the church- lots more. Srs on Medicare: save way over $100/wk. Because no more medigap, long term care & dental insur. needed. No more drug bills." But if we the American people fail to bring enough pressure on our current politicians to get HR 676 passed into law before the elections. We will have to identify, and replace all the politicians standing in the way of passage of HR 676. And, I think the best first place to start is with the politicians that blocked the bipartisan SCHIP bills for the kids. Passed by congress twice. But what about the President. It was Bush after all that blocked the bipartisan SCHIP bill passed by congress to assure more health coverage for Americas kids. So which of the presidential hopefuls do I think will be most supportive of implementing the demand of the majority of the American people to have HR 676 (Medicare For All) passed into law immediately! We have some very fine presidential candidates who would make good presidents.
Young voters give politics an extreme makeover
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Young voters are on a roll this election season. They rolled right through Super Tuesday in record-breaking numbers and are poised for a remarkable, maybe election-altering, turnout in November. "This is an entirely new generation of young people," said Heather Smith of Rock the Vote, a nationwide advocacy group. "They're finding their voice in the political process now and realizing that when they do turn out, campaigns pay attention to them." .
