Just another game? Yeah, right

About the same time, he became a ballboy for home games. He hasn't missed a game since, except in 1993 when he took off after graduating from Bozeman High School to live in southern California while figuring out what to do with his life."It was a blast," he said of his Bobcat-blessed childhood. "Coach (Brad) Huse's kids are going the exact same thing I was going through. I look at those kids and think, 'Man, 10 or 15 years ago I was in those shoes.' It seems like yesterday."Naturally, other 'Cat-Griz memories aren't difficult to conjure up. He easily rattles off names from both sides that date back 15 years. Not surprisingly, Durham's highest moment and his second-lowest moment as a player took place in 'Cat-Griz games. As a freshman in 2005, he scored 18 points n all from 3-point range n to fuel an emotional 72-62 victory at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, crowning him hero for a night and leaving his father nearly choked up with pride.A year later, he scored 17 points but will always remember getting picked clean twice at midcourt by a pint-sized and little-used UM point guard named Bryan Ellis, starting MSU down the slippery slope to an 80-64 defeat.

They really are not interested in too much small talk from the sales person. Just give them their five minutes to dream about catching the big one. But their biggest issue is the spouse looking over the shoulder. When mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Interviewers are more serious about purchasing the product. They want to know what you think of every aspect of the boat. Do you like the ride? Does the boat go super shallow? How fast? Do you need that do-hicky on the back? (Sir&it is a Power Pole and yes it is essential) This guy needs to be connected with a sales person as soon as possible.

The "don't askers" are most interesting of all. You know the type because we all are or have been "don't askers" at some point. They walk through wanting to look but not be approached.

Stars celebrate the Oscars at Elton's

Big name stars without an invitation to this year's Academy Awards ceremony turned out in force at Sir Elton John's Oscar party in Hollywood.

Now in its 16th year and raising millions of pounds for the singer's Aids Foundation, the likes of Sean Penn, Kate Beckinsale, Christian Slater and Mary J Blige were out for one of Hollywood's hottest parties.

Last year's host Ellen DeGeneres arrived hand in hand with girlfriend Portia De Rossi, telling reporters her nerves were a little calmer this year: "I feel very relaxed, I'm going to have a cocktail and relax in there."

Actress Sharon Stone was helping out with the evening's charity auction by donating a very special gift: "I'm giving away a 70s Corvette from our family's trust and we're very excited and hope it raises a lot of money for the Aids Foundation."

But TV's Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell, said he wasn't prepared to cough up any cash for the Basic Instint star's vehicle: "I love cars.

Obama's success makes him a target

This is tear down old-time politics. Should the Clintons succeed, then we are in for a very very painful eight more years of sleaze, slime and corruption, AND paralysis. This is the time for all good Americans to come forward and say to the Clintons, NO, you cannot get away with this divisive politics. It is time for John Edwards and Bill Richardson to help the nation and say, Yes we can and must turn the page!

IBM to add software for Apple devices

EMAIL software from IBM will be available on Apple iPhones and iPod Touch devices under a new partnership that brings together two big rivals of Microsoft.

IBM plans a formal announcement of the Lotus Notes email package for Apple's portable devices at its Lotusphere conference in Orlando, Florida, next week. The software, which requires use of IBM's Domino email server program, will be free for users who already have a Lotus web-access licence and start at $US39 ($44) per year for new users.

IBM also plans to release Lotus Notes and the free Lotus Symphony "productivity" package - which includes documents, spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office-like software - for Apple's Macintosh computers.

With these moves, IBM is trying to find more avenues for its software and take advantage of Apple's natural affinity for Microsoft alternatives.

Need for Speed: Carbon

If you're looking for an actual racing simulator, you'll be better off with something like Colin McRae Rally from Feral Interactive. But if you're looking for a cinematic game that will make you feel like you're in a scene from The Fast and the Furious, Need for Speed: Carbon is really hard to top.
